Our Process:
To provide a seamless progression to each client’s home design we have broken the Design Process into five steps: Intro Meeting, Floor Plan, Front Elevation, Check Set and Final Completion. Each step is worked on until the Client is happy or approves the work we have completed to that point. This ensures that when your Design is completed it will be exactly what you want and within your desired budget.

Intro Meeting: Clients are asked to bring in any photos, floor plans, drawings and ideas that they have collected to share a collective vision for their home. In this meeting we will also go over desired number of bedrooms, bathrooms, garages, overall sq.ft., site plan and budget range. It is Important for all of our Client’s to know that not all sq.ft. is created equal and because of our extensive work in the Custom Home Building and Interior Design market we can pinpoint not just general sq.ft. numbers to you but can create actual budgetary line items for your entire home for FREE. So by taking all of the design and budget information we can go over structural efficiency and interior finish out of your home to ensure that as much of your wants and needs are included in the design while maintaining your overall budget.

Floor plan:  Once we have received all of the Client’s information from the Intro Meeting we then produce a first and second floor plan that we believe is the best combination of everything.  We then present this to the Client and any corrections or desired changes are made.  This exchange goes back and forth until the floor plan is completely approved.   Don’t worry we have a very good track record of getting the design 80-90% complete on the first try!  We are so confident in our ability that we offer a Design Guarantee which states:  If Heavenly Design cannot produce a floor plan that you are happy with, within your desired budget, than we will refund 100% of your design deposit back to you.

Front elevation:  Once the floor plan is approved we produce a front elevation which will be presented to the Client and any necessary change will be made.  Like the floor plan stage this exchange goes back and forth until the front elevation is completely approved.

Check Set:   Once the Front Elevation is approved we will produce a completed, fully dimensioned set of drawings for our Clients review.  This includes all floor plans, all elevations, all electrical, slab layout, site plan, and roof layout.  At this stage the floor plan and front elevation have already been reviewed and changes made in detail so there should be no structural changes at this point but only minor details.  However to ensure that our design is called a “Heavenly Design” by our clients we will go through two additional rounds of revisions with UNLIMITED non-structural revisions in each round.

Final Completion:  After all of these rounds of revisions and complete Client approval on each step in the process we produce two full size sets of your Dream Home that is now ready to be sent to Engineering, HOA and Permits.  Once those items are completed you are ready to see your Heavenly Design become a reality!
